The Breathe Easy respiratory program provides pharmaceutical care services for individuals who have respiratory diseases such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Education is provided about the disease state and medications used to control symptoms. Patients are taught how to monitor their condition at home and use inhalers correctly. Pharmacists collaborate with the patient’s physician to develop a self management plan.
