Exhibitor Registration Form Projected Graduates Attending Companies

Dear Colleague:

Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy invites you to participate in Career Day on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.  As you read this letter, you will notice a significant change in this event.  At your suggestion we are separating the P4 interviews and the interaction with P1-P3 student pharmacists.  Hopefully, this will allow maximum visibility with students and potentially shorten your time commitment.

P4 Placement Interviews:  This event will be held in our beautiful Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center.  It is designed to provide a venue for prospective employers to interact with our P4 student pharmacists in a professional setting.  We have 122 Pharm.D. candidates scheduled to graduate in May 2010, and know you will be anxious to meet and interview them.  Interviews will be conducted from 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM.  Please note that the venue for your corporate displays will be in your designated interview site.

The early-bird registration deadline is October 19, 2009.  For your convenience we have created a link on our web site for the event at http://pharmacy.auburn.edu/careerdays.  Please fill out the registration form online.  You must be accurate in the number of representatives you list on your registration form because the facility space will be leased based on that information.  Your registration will be confirmed via email to both the company representative completing the registration form and the key contact for the Career Day event, so be sure to include both addresses.  You will receive your pre-scheduled interview assignments upon check-in on Tuesday morning. 

If you would like to sponsor a student function at the Hotel Conference Center outside of our scheduled event, please feel free to contact Tyler Svetich, Conference Services Manager at 334-321-3182. 

You may wish to ship recruiting materials directly to the Auburn University Conference Center.  The shipping label MUST indicate “School of Pharmacy Recruitment Event.” Ship materials to: Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center, 241 South College St., Auburn, Alabama 36830.  The Conference Center requests that you ship after October 26, 2009.

P1 – P3 Student Pharmacists Interactions:  In response to your suggestion regarding interactions with our P1-P3 student pharmacists, we are offering each of you an opportunity to schedule day(s) to come to the School and set up displays and enjoy one-on-one interactions with them about possible summer internships and future employment.  Events can be customized to fit your needs as far as the amount of time you wish to be here, and if you would like to provide food or refreshments. We will be happy to put you in touch with local caterers or restaurants and assist you in any way we can to make your day successful.  You would also be able to ship any materials to us in advance to be held for your arrival.  Please contact me at kenneyl@auburn.edu or telephone (334) 844-8348 to schedule a time that will maximize your contact with our student pharmacists.
