Dr. Vinti joined the AU HSOP faculty in August of 2007. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (2003). She completed an ASHP/APhA accredited pharmacy practice residency (with an emphasis in community care) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2004). Dr. Vinti is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and is also certified in Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery through APhA/CDC. Before coming to Auburn, Dr. Vinti taught for two years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (PCP), University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP). There she developed an ambulatory care practice at the Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, took students on rotation, taught in large lectures, facilitated case-based discussion in a capstone course, coordinated the Professional Communications course, and mentored students in the Professional Seminar series. Dr. Vinti also served as the Faculty Advisor for APhA-ASP during these two years, for which she was awarded USP's campus-wide Outstanding Faculty Advisor award for 2006-2007.

Now with Auburn, Dr. Vinti is located in Mobile on the new satellite campus. She has an appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Family Medicine with the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. Her practice is located at the Family Practice Center on the USA-Springhill campus in Mobile. Her areas of practice and research interest include cardiovascular risk reduction, diabetes mellitus, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal disorders, and disorders of bone metabolism. Dr. Vinti is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP), Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, and Phi Lambda Sigma.
