2003 Alabama Residency Conference was held on October 29, 2003
in
the Harrison School of Pharmacy’s Walker Building. The keynote speaker
was Mr. Harold Kornfuhrer,
Chair of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists' Commission
on Credentialing. An open mic session which followed Mr. Kornfuhrer’s
address gave students in attendance a chance to ask questions of
preceptors and current residents. Residency booths were set up in the
Walker lobby and opened at Noon, giving ample opportunity for attendees
to find out more about residency training. The Residency Conference is a
great way for students to learn about the many and varied career
opportunities available to them as pharmacists.
