Most current pix of Education and Clinical Wingf you want a "Wow!" moment, check out the dramatic time-lapse photo sequence on the Building Renovation Page. The photos were taken by the live Web Cam positioned on the top of Haley Center. Since the inception of the WebCam, each day's work has been captured in 10 minute intervals. With the time-lapse, you can actually see just how much work was accomplished in a single day and sometimes the progress will astound you. The time-lapse sequence shows 365 days in the life of the construction process — all within a about a  minutes. It's stunning and not to be missed!

Start of Renovation ProjectOnce everyone is moved into their new residences in the Education and Clinical Wing, a Grand Opening will take place. That date is TBA. And talk is in the wind to have a couple of open houses for alumni during football season. Lots of excitement in the air, so stay tuned.

Just as a reminder from our last E-News, a new section called the Building Fund, is now available to anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in the name of a loved one.

Keep Checking On Us

Our live WebCam is still operating even though the outside of the building is mostly complete now. The main work has moved inside, but we will keep you up-to-date on the progress as much as possible through our slides shows. If you haven't seen the amazing Virtual Video Walk-through, it's something you don't want to miss. Rooms are created electronically from the ground up by artist specialists. The technique is something like a high-end animated cartoon. Through a camera-like lens, the viewer enters the building's front entrance and is able to walk through the entire building, exploring whatever is of interest. A striking amount of minute detail is in evidence, like a to-scale replica of the HSOP's Web home page on a computer screen and portraits of real people. Even the carpet looks exactly like the carpet that will be installed in the new building. With this mind-blowing technology, the viewer gets the advantage of experiencing, not just seeing,  the building long before it's finished.
