HSOP Graduate Student Awards: The 16th Annual Research Forum
n April 6th, the Donald E. Davis Arboretum hosted the 16th Annual Research Forum Awards Program. The Harrison School of Pharmacy's Department of Pharmacal Sciences graduate students came away with several of the top prizes.
These prizes are the result of their competing in the Graduate Research Forum, which is a multidisciplinary exhibition of student research sponsored by the AU Graduate Student Council. The Forum allows graduate, professional and undergraduate students an opportunity to present their research to the public and compete for prizes.
The awards for Harrison School of Pharmacy Graduate Students are as follows:
Pharmacal Sciences
Best oral presentation (1st prize) — Nayana Wijayawardhane
Poster presentation (2nd prize) — Kodeeswaran Parameshwaran
Poster presentation (3rd prize) — Nayana Wijayawardhane
Outstanding Graduate Student Award
Pharmacal Sciences, Pharmaceutics — Arindar Basu Sakkar
Pharmacal Sciences, Pharmacoloy/Toxicology — Catrina Sims
