MESSAGE FROM DEAN EVANS
HSOP Building Renovations Update
As summer approaches, the Harrison School of Pharmacy is hard at work preparing for the next stage for renovating the Walker building. As the curriculum and culture changed, so did the facility needs. This led to the addition of the education and clinic wing which has been open for 18 months. We must now address the remainder of the school’s facility needs. Our research program is being called upon to assist with the economic development in Alabama. Updated research facilities are critical to attract the best science faculty possible and to support modern research in drug development. Additionally we have simply run out of space. There is no longer enough space to house faculty and staff that are currently with the School. Currently, several of the faculty and staff are housed within Miller Hall due to the inadequate sizing of our current facility. By the end of the summer, these faculty and staff members will have to move out of Miller Hall adding to the need to ask for your help!

As HSOP alumni, we invite you to consider an investment in the future of pharmacy education, research, and outreach. Your leadership and commitment towards the construction and renovation of the Walker building will provide a learning environment that supports the educational foundation of pharmacists for generations to come. If you are interested in making a gift towards the HSOP Building Fund or would like more information, please contact Jimmy Harris at (334) 844-5352 and he will be happy to share with you the many giving opportunities Auburn has to offer.
