Annual Scholarship Recognition Program and
Rho Chi Induction Ceremony
he Harrison School of Pharmacy held a joint ceremony for two groups of student pharmacists on September 18, 2007. Scholarship recipients were announced for this school year. Sharing the spotlight were those student pharmacists being inducted into pharmacy's academic honor society Rho Chi. Induction into the Society signifies excellence in intellectual achievement and a recognition of high standards of conduct and character.
The ceremony took place at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center. Paul W. Jungnickel, Ph.D., R.Ph., Professor and Associate Dean presided over the evening's events. He was assisted by faculty member and Chair of the Scholarship and Awards Committee Cara Leos, Pharm.D., BCPS, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice .
Ninety-three scholarships were awarded. Twenty-three student pharmacists were inducted into Rho Chi. Congratulations to all of them. The Harrison School of Pharmacy is proud of them and grateful to all the Scholarship donors for enabling us to financially assist so many deserving Auburn pharmacists of the future.
