Briefly describe innovation

Adjoining and facing the Rx counter we have an 8 x 8 pharmacists' area where the pharmacist checks the technician dispensing and counsels all patients (both new and refill Rxs) in a private stand up or sit down area. Our Pharm.D. and a technician, after two days of specialized training, are counseling patients with diabetes and doing glucose monitor training. We are formulating an outcomes research project which will include our company's associates.
