Pharmacist Avedikian has provided specialized services and pharmaceutical care to HIV/AIDS patients for a number of years.

Since opening Phoenix Pharmacy in early 1995, his specialized practice has expanded to include such catastrophic illnesses as Alzheimer's, cancer, diabetes, and chronic fatigue syndrome. His pharmacy provides in-house testing services for HIV, hepatitis antibodies, sexually transmitted diseases, and blood panels, including cholesterol and lipid panels. He utilizes the services of a full-time staff acupuncturist, who is also a doctor of naturopathy. Avedikian carries a full line of herbs and homeopathic remedies, and has begun to offer a series of free hypnotherapy sessions for HIV/AIDS and cancer patients to help them with visualization and slow the disease process.

Avedikian indicates that his goal is to pioneer a pharmacy where alternative treatments co-exist in harmony with traditional ones.
