Briefly describe innovation:

Biotechnology pharmacists work on demonstration projects. Currently, they are working with a drug called Neuprogem. It is a biochemical drug used to treat cancer. Previously it has only been administered in oncology and doctors offices. They are doing a demonstration project to give pharmacist's the opportunity to administer this drug. They will check the patients condition, temperature, and make minimal physical assessments.

Reimbursement rate : Pharmacists will be reinbursed based on an estimated amount of time required to do the work.

Is documentation required? Documentation of all services will be sent to physicians and Third Party.

Specialized training required? Three day training is provided by the State Board Association.
