--Pharmaceutical Care through the use of computer software programs.

Ron Campbell uses various computer programs to monitor the drug therapy of his patients. With the help of computer software, Ron can look up a particular drug's interactions, information about a particular disease state, and the symptoms a patient may experience with that disease. He is able to answer physicians questions regarding drug interactions instantly. This enables him to quickly inform the physician as to whether or not a drug can be used in a patient's existing drug regimen.

In addition to providing the patient with written information about their prescriptions, Ron also provides the patient with written information about their disease state. This makes for a well informed, autonomous patient in the provision of pharmaceutical care.
