John Glenn offers a number of innovative services for his customers. These services include the following:

• blood pressure monitoring and education service
• allergy shots
• flu shots
• diabetes education
• smoking cessation program
• compliance packaging

Method of Reimbursement:

The primary payor for these services is the customer, although a few third parties are willing to pay for services. The reimbursement rate schedule is as follows:

Hypertension service--$2/session

Diabetes education--$120/hour

Allergy and flu shots--$10/injection

Compliance packaging--$10/patient/month + prescription costs

Smoking cessation--new program--no charge as of yet

Paper charts are kept on each patient in the programs, as well as computer files in the CogniCare patient care system.

1) Immunization course

2) Two diabetes classes and is currently studying for his CDE (for diabetes education)

3) Completion of Care Point program
