His pharmacy is located in a medical center, which enhances open communications and collegial relationships with the physicians located in the building. If a patient expresses a problem or "need to know", Hambright takes it upon himself to call the physi cian. He sees himself as a patient advocate.

John Hambright is heading up an Asthma Clinic project for Omni Health Care for Sacramento County's expanding Medicaid managed care program. Additionally, he conducts one-on-one classes for diabetics in the use of blood glucose meters for a nominal fee.
