Briefly describe innovation

Hobb's Pharmacy has a variety of innovations. They do a great deal of work with patients who have diabetes. This includes one on one counseling, but also special programs. In April, the pharmacy held a "Diabetes day," where they held special sessions. A Novo representative attended and demonstrated how to use Novolin prefilled syringes and Novo pens. The other innovations are rather diversified. They specifically counsel patients on infusions and long term care. In addition, Hobb's pharmacy specializes in medical equipment and supplies.

Method of Reimbursement

Hobb's pharmacy is in the infant stages of creating reimbursement methods for their services. At the moment, they receive no additional reimbursement for providing specialized patient care, but plan to do so very soon due to the need of the pharmacy and the large population who receive their services.
