Briefly describe innovation
In this Independent Pharmacy, the pharmacist provides special care for Diabetes patients, Mastectomy patients, Ostomy patients, and Home Health patients. They supply products needed by these patients and instruct the patients in the use of these products. They help the patients keep up with what products they need and when this equipment should be replaced. The pharmacist counsels these patients on the proper use of this durable medical equipment, and he offers support for the patients as they are adapting to their disease and the care of the disease. This pharmacy caters to the elderly patients in the community.
