Briefly describe innovation:
I am the associate of Marty Jones R.Ph and worked for him @ Marty's Pharmacy & Professional Pharmacy Services when we co-developed PLO gel [Pluronic-Organo-Lecithin Gel] for transdermal use. We also developed a active hospice pratice which I fully developed in 1996 after buying Marty's Pharnacy. I was the consultant for 2 in-patient hospices and 3 out-patient hospices managing around 230 patients per day. I developed and implemented physician-pharmacist protocols which are still in use today. I was one of the first pharmacist in the United States to be approved to administer immunizations by the Board of Pharmacy. I was certified by PCCA in Houston TX for compounding, aseptic techniques, and advanced compounding. I served on IACP's Board of Ethics Committee and was a consultant for PCCA during peak hours of calls. I continue my consulting work in California after selling the business in 1999. I continue to work in the field of hospice care, research, innovative dosage forms and patient care. I recieved the Innovative Pharmacist Of The Year in 1997 for the State of Mississippi.
