Temple Pharmacy is a high volume pharmacy located in a medical clinic filling 400 to 500 prescriptions daily, and is open 365 days a year. Patient counseling begins as soon as the patient enters the pharmacy. The patient profile terminal is lcated at the front counter so the patient may be questioned face to face about allergies, health problems, interactions and other medication being taken. These entrico are out into the computer immediately. The patient is again offered couseling as the prescription is dispensed along with written information as well as the counseling pharmacist's business card to encourage phoone calls if questions arise after leaving the pharmacy.
