Briefly describe innovation

Dale Toni redesigned the layout of his pharmacy . With the new floor plan, he is able to communicate and counsel his patients in a more personal and effective way. The wall of vitamins which used to separate him from his patients has been removed . A glass cabinet has been built in its place so that patients can see him as he works and communicate with him. A large waiting area was added so patients would have a quiet, comfortable place to sit while their prescriptions are filled. This area has numerous drug information pamphlets for patients to read while they are waiting. Mr. Toni also built several private counseling booths. Each booth is equipped with a desk, chairs, and a computer in which the patients entire medication history and profile can be accessed.
