Dennis R. Duty, II , IT Specialist IV, calls Columbus, Georgia home, although he grew up in a military family. Dennis got his B.B.A. in Finance in June 1995 from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. He and his wife Lauren have two children with another on the way. Lauren, a Pharm.D. graduate from the University of Georgia, is currently the Director of the Primary Care Residency Program at Columbus Regional Hospital. Dennis gained experience diagnosing and repairing PCs and handling network problems while working as an Account Representative for Merchant Service Systems of Peachtree City, Georgia. Later he became Sr. Marketing Director for First Internet Alliance, Inc. of Georgia. There he extended his knowledge to all aspects of computer networking, databases, diagnostics, repair, and Website development. He also has served as an information technology resource for VARBusiness. (Mckeefry H.L. A Driving Force. VARBusiness. September 1,1998:59-61). He analyzed and evaluated CD-ROM technology on reliability and price structure for this publication. Dennis began working at the Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2000. His primary responsibilities are taking care of all hardware, software and networking problems for both the students and the School’s Personnel. His experience and technological expertise as well as his talent for trouble-shooting problems have made Dennis an invaluable member of the IT team at HSOP.
