Kelly Hester, Pharm.D., BCPS. is Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She is a graduate of the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. She completed a Pharmacy Practice residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center (1996-1997). She has had clinical experience in critical care and ambulatory care settings. Kelly worked 3 years at UAB serving as a clinical and investigational drug pharmacist in the AIDS outpatient/research clinic. She worked at the VA in Tuskegee in the Geriatric Primary Care clinic and managed the outpatient anticoagulation service. Currently she is practicing in affiliation with the Copeland Care Clinic in Montgomery to provide collaborative medication therapy management pharmaceutical care services. Areas of interest include adult medicine and HIV pharmacotherapy.
