Dr. Jean Lin obtained her B.S. in Pharmacy at China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan. She then worked as a hospital pharmacist before coming to Auburn. She received her M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics in the Department of Pharmacal Science, Harrison School of Pharmacy, Auburn University.
Her areas of expertise include pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) profile assessment and drug-drug interaction, as well as preformulation and dosage design in conventional and novel dosage forms, such as liposome, microspheres, and nanoparticles. In addition, she is familiar with numerous analytical instruments. Her research interests cover oncology, infectious diseases, pediatric, geriatric, CNS, and alternative medicine. She has involved in more than 50 projects including PK/PD analysis in animal models and clinical trials (phase I), modification of formulations for better bioavailability and patient compliance, as well as several patent applications in novel dosage drug delivery system.
