Laura Susan Cain, PharmD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and later moved with her family to Macon, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia for both pre-pharmacy course work, as well as pharmacy school. She completed her rotations at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where she developed an interest in oncology. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 2006.
Laura Susan worked as a pharmacist in the Operating Room at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, after graduation. She then chose to pursue residency training and completed a pharmacy practice residency at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Columbus, Georgia. Laura Susan joined the faculty of Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy in 2008, with an inpatient oncology/internal medicine practice site at The Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.
