The purpose of this invitational conference is to develop a blueprint for pharmacy practice in Alabama over the next ten years. Proceedings of the consensus conference will be produced and may be used by pharmacists as well as their business and health care partners to address emerging issues. These issues include: the economics of the profession; workforce requirements; best practices in the use of technology; organizational structure of the profession in the state; collaborative practices; and need for residency training."
