Walker, Jr. Mr. Walker built the Birmingham-based Walker Drug Co. into one of the nation's largest independent wholesale drug companies. He and members of the Walker family are longtime benefactors of the pharmacy program at Auburn. In appreciation, Dean Lee Evans said, "It is very gratifying to have the professional home of pharmacy faculty and students named after one of Alabama's most outstanding pharmacy leaders. Practitioners in Alabama will always be indebted to the Walker family for their numerous contributions."

With their past contributions, the Walker family not only supported the Auburn pharmacy building funds in 1975 and 2000, but they also established the W.W.
