his clinic will be unique to Auburn University. It is not only a patient care facility, but also integral to the education and professional training of tomorrow's pharmacy practitioner. Faculty and student pharmacists will participate in pharmaceutical care services including: healthcare education, pharma-cotherapy, monitoring and case management of patients with chronic medical problems, and educational wellness programs. Examination rooms and a patient waiting room are needed to provide privacy and care to our patients. The clinic will also support both simulated patient care activities and clinical research.

However, a pharmaceutical care facility would not be complete without assurance that patients receive their medication. A full-scale pharmacy adjacent to the clinic will offer a drug distribution and patient counseling. The Pharmaceutical Care clinic will serve as a working example of a contemporary practice.
