ontemporary
pharmacy education re-quires its students to develop lifelong learning
techniques and strong communication skills. In the James Harrison
School of Pharmacy, small teams with faculty guidance and
facilitation accomplish much of the student pharmacists' education.
These teams instill in our students the values of cooperation and
open communication, while creating a bond among the pharmacy student
body. Each team will have its academic home in one of the team
rooms |
which
will be available to
students 24 hours a day. These spaces create
a secure professional atmosphere and are equipped with individual work areas
for each student; as well as a conference table for the group to work
together. All of these rooms will be equipped with the latest
technology, including video and teleconferencing equipment that will
connect them with distant faculty and programs, wireless web access,
large video monitors and wall talker surfaces. |
