Curriculum Vitae

Benjamin Teeter, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Outcomes Research and Policy at the Harrison College of Pharmacy. Dr. Teeter is a researcher trained in social, behavioral, and administrative pharmacy with an emphasis on implementation science. He received training through the highly-competitive Training Institute for Dissemination and Implementation Research in Cancer (TIDIRC) hosted by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS).

His research program focuses on how best to implement evidence-based interventions across diverse clinical settings in rural communities. He hopes to translate his research findings into meaningful policy changes that have a positive impact on access to high-quality care for underserved populations.

Specifically, his projects have investigated:

  1. Adoption, implementation, and sustainability of innovative patient care and prevention services in community pharmacies
  2. Effects of social, behavioral and contextual factors on participation in organizational quality improvement
  3. Impact of community pharmacy on reduction of health disparities and improvement of public health
