Fallon Hartsell, Pharm.D., BCACP is an ambulatory care pharmacist in the Auburn University Pharmaceutical Care Center. In her role, Dr. Hartsell provides accessible, patient-focused ambulatory care to patients with chronic conditions at the AUPCC. She provides point-of-care testing, develops sustained partnerships with patients, and works closely with other health care providers to optimize medication and health-related outcomes. She also precepts fourth year pharmacy students in activities involving direct patient care.
A 2008 HCOP Pharm.D. graduate, Dr. Hartsell spent 12 years in community pharmacy practice with two years of experience at an opioid-treatment facility. She joined the AUPCC staff in 2018. Her areas of expertise are prediabetes, diabetes, and prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
