Kayleigh Hornsby joined the Harrison School of Pharmacy in August, 2021 as Research Assistant in the Department of Health Outcomes Research and Policy. He completed his dual-degree bachelor of science in psychology and sociology with minors in biology and medical humanities from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018.
Following undergrad, McCormick worked as a Project Coordinator for BEST in CLASS at VCU where his research focused on the efficacy and replication of an intervention program for children at risk for emotional and behavioral disorders and the development of treatment integrity and social interaction measurements. His undergraduate research was in epidemiology having completed an archival study examining the localized social determinants of health and disparate health outcomes between Black Americans and White Americans in historically segregated Richmond, Virginia neighborhoods.
