Chris Smith is the Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Operations Manager for the Harrison School of Pharmacy's Research Programs unit. He started working with the school in 2011 and came on full-time in 2012. Smith is a 1999 graduate from Auburn University, earning his degree in Management.
As the Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Operations Manager, he oversees and maintains common equipment, oversees building maintenance, common lab safety, orders common lab supplies, performs chemical and medical waste disposal, oversees chemical inventory for certain labs, assists primary investigators with research work when needed, serves as a liaison to manufacturers and supplier representatives and technicians, and assists with department events.
Chris and his wife, Sherry, live in Auburn.
