Dr. Dennis Scott joined the Harrison College of Pharmacy's Division of Clinical Affairs and Outreach in June 2022. In his role, he is the physician for the State Wellness Center in Montgomery and the Auburn University Health Care and Education Clinic in Auburn.
An Auburn graduate, he earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology in 1983 . He went on to earn a his M.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1989. He completed his residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center Family Medicine in 1990.
With more than 30 years experience in emergency medicine, air transport medicine and urgent care medicine, he worked in the LifeSaver/Carraway Methodist Emergency Department from 1990–96 and with Cebert Pharmaceuticals from 1996-2001. Scott worked with AirMed Medical Transport from 1999-2006 before moving to private practice from 2006-21.
