Georgia W. Fox, Pharm.D., BCPS is originally from Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Dr. Fox is a graduate of Auburn's Harrison College of Pharmacy. After graduating from Auburn, she completed a PGY-1 residency at Winchester Medical Center and Shenandoah University Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in Winchester, Virginia.
Dr. Fox moved back to Auburn in 2006 when she accepted a position with Auburn as an Assistant Clinical Professor. In this role, she developed a practice site at East Alabama Medical Center for rotation students and taught in several other HSOP courses. In 2008, she became Lead Facilitator for Integrated Pharmacotherapy (IP), a problem-based learning course in the third year of the curriculum. Her primary responsibilities were facilitating pharmacy students and managing and coordinating the course and serving as a mentor in the Professional Practice Experience (PPE) course.
In 2018, Dr. Fox transferred into her current role as the P2 Curricular Coordinator. As the Curriculum Coordinator, she provides curriculum, classroom, assessment and administrative support in the second year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program. Fox works with a team of faculty and administrators to implement a variety of learning experiences. The program emphasizes student-centered learning, active learning, experiential integration of competencies and skills from all areas across the pharmacy curriculum.
