K. Paige Patterson is the Assistant Director of Business Operations of Clinical Health Services in 2019. She has operational responsibilities for directing and managing the strategic planning, organizational analysis, business development, and program assessment of the Clinical Health Services division, which include Auburn University Pharmaceutical Care Center, Auburn University Employee Pharmacy, Auburn University Student Pharmacy, Auburn University Healthcare and Education Clinic/Pharmacy, the Healthy Tigers Program, State Employee’s Insurance Board Wellness Center (Clinic/Pharmacy).
She also assists with Clinical Health Services research initiatives ensuring all operational aspects are complete and will help achieve the desired research outcomes and the successful integration of Harrison College of Pharmacy students and interprofessional students within all Clinical Health Services sites. Patterson serves as the CHS HIPAA officer.
Patterson graduated from Auburn University in 2002 and accepted her position at the Harrison College of Pharmacy in 2002 as the first full-time pharmacy technician in Clinical Health Services. She has been a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician since 2003. Her past positions within Clinical Health Services include Lead Pharmacy Technician, Supervising Technician, Assistant to the Assistant Dean for Health Services, and Practice Operations Manager.
Patterson is a member of Clinical Health Service’s Executive Committee and serves on several HCOP committees (Clinical Services Advisory, Residency Advisory, and many HCOP Faculty and Staff Search Committees). She has served as Chair-Elect, Chair, Past Chair of the Administrative & Professional Staff for Auburn University and served on the Administrative & Professional Nominations and Elections Committee.
She is also an active member of the Alabama Pharmacy Association (APA). She has served as the Pharmacy Technician Academy Chair in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2018 and currently serves as the Pharmacy Technician Representative and a voting member of the APA Board. Patterson was named the 2012 Pharmacy Technician of the Year and was the first pharmacy technician authorized to vote in the APA House of Delegates.
Patterson and her family are devoted Auburn Football fans and love the Auburn Community.
