Wesley Lindsey, Pharm.D., is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and the Drug Information Center.
Dr. Lindsey was raised near Asheville, North Carolina and completed his undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He then earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (2001) from Campbell University and completed a specialty residency in Drug Information at Campbell University (2002).
He spent the next four years as Director of Drug Information and Assistant Professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. There he developed a health information resource center for students and faculty and established a drug information service for healthcare professionals in South Florida.
Dr. Lindsey joined Auburn University in July 2006. His interests include drug information utilization in areas of clinical practice and topics related to personal financial management.
Dr. Lindsey currently practices in the Drug Information and Learning Resources Center located in the Harrison School of Pharmacy. The Center provides four main services including: 1) responding to information requests from healthcare professionals; 2) medication safety training for local organizations; 3) providing continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in partnership with the Alabama Pharmacy Association; and 4) providing systematic reviews to assist healthcare decision makers.
