Fnu Ibtisam (Ibby) is currently pursuing a Ph.D. with an emphasis in Medicinal Chemistry in the Harrison School of Pharmacy's Department Drug Discovery and Development. She completed her Ph.D. candidacy in September 2019. Currently, she is conducting her research under the direction of Dr. Alexei Kisselev (primary advisor) and Dr. Forest Smith (co-advisor) with financial support from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Scholarship (LPDP – RI). Her research focuses on Targeting DNA-damage inducible I homolog (II), an aspartic type protease for the development of an anti-cancer drug.
