Hargreaves Day

Hargreaves Day is an annual event named in honor of George Hargreaves, a pharmacy faculty member from 1926-73. Competing for the Hargreaves Trophy, students are divided into teams and compete in events such as tug of war, the pentathlon, volleyball, kickball, dodgeball and many others. The purpose of the day is to bring HCOP students, faculty and staff together away from their busy schedules and enjoy one another’s company in a more laid-back setting.

At the Harrison College of Pharmacy, the development of both professional and personal relationships between faculty and students are valued. Annual social events help foster those relationships as well as offer students an opportunity to socialize with each other in unique environments.
