The SEIB Pharmacy is a full-service pharmacy that was developed by the State Employees’ Insurance Board (SEIB) to provide conveniently accessible, quality, advanced pharmacy services for state and local government employees, and their families, who work in and around downtown Montgomery.

Individuals who are insured primarily or secondarily by SEIB or LGHIP can utilize the pharmacy. Additionally, the SEIB Pharmacy proudly trains post-doctoral residents and Pharm.D. students to deliver top-notch pharmacy care.

In order to ensure that the highest quality pharmacy services are provided for SHIP and LGHIP members, SEIB contracted directly with Auburn University’s Harrison School of Pharmacy to form a collaborative partnership. Therefore, the SEIB Pharmacy is staffed by Auburn University faculty, staff, and employees who are trained to provide the highest quality pharmacy care.

Every staff member is well-trained and extremely knowledgeable about medications; and they also have direct access to Auburn University’s national experts in healthcare and medication use. Auburn’s pharmacy professors are on the cutting edge of pharmacy practice in the United States.

As part of Auburn University’s advanced practice model at the SEIB Pharmacy, each new patient is asked to have an initial, private consultation with our pharmacist for a Medication Check-Up. This ensures that our pharmacist is aware of every medication you take and how you are taking them. At the SEIB Pharmacy, all of our staff want to help you respond quickly to treatment, get better, stay healthy, prevent disease, and control chronic health conditions.

Clinical Pharmacist Appointments

Are you having any medication-related problems or concerns? Maybe you are forgetting to take your medication on schedule, finding it difficult to afford your medication co-pays, or possibly suffering from side effects or drug interactions. We have a clinical pharmacist who can meet with you to discuss your current medications and health conditions. During this meeting, the pharmacist can assist you with any issues that you may be having as well as act as your advocate, contacting your physician to make recommendations when necessary. Our goal is to make sure you are getting the most benefit from your medication regimen to maximize your health. If interested, please call the SWC at 334-844-8245 to schedule your appointment.
