Mission

The Industry Pharmacists Organization, or IPhO, promotes additional career pathways for students who are interested in industrial careers in pharmacy. We highlight various facets of industry profession including, but not limited to, medical affairs, commercial, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory affairs. Our goal is to further Harrisons College of Pharmacy’s goal of producing “practice-ready pharmacists” by helping educate and guiding pharmacy students to additional career paths that can influence the community and health care.

Vision

Our organization provides knowledge and perspectives from pharmacists who have chosen pharma as a career path within the field of the pharmacy. The HCOP IPhO organization, a chapter of a national IPhO organization, enables members to participate in the vast network of pharmacy programs that are available to them. We aim to host numerous training events and aid to prepare pharmacy students for a future in the field of pharma. We hope we will strengthen Harrison’s College of Pharmacy goal and redefine the career paths that pharmacy students can choose.

How to Get Involved

This organization is for students who are interested in developing a career in the biopharmaceutical industry. Feel free to reach out to IPhO members if you want to get involved. Meetings will be held monthly during the academic year. We will give you all the information you need to know to be successful within our organization.

About the HCOP Chapter

Established in 2023, Auburn University Industry Pharmacy Organization aims to provide ample opportunity for student pharmacists. Students will network and gain insights on various companies who produce products you use every day like aspirin, baby powder, and band-aids. We aim to increase the presence of pharma in the South and produce experienced pharmacists with bright futures in pharma.
