Cassidi McDaniel is a graduate student at the Harrison School of Pharmacy, pursuing her Ph.D. in the Health Outcomes Research and Policy option. Originally from Valley, Alabama, Cassidi’s endeavors in pharmacy began in community pharmacy, and she started her Ph.D. training in August of 2018. During her Ph.D. training, she has gained extensive knowledge and skills through coursework and training, along with hands-on research experience. Cassidi’s research interests are centered around diabetes care and health equity, particularly the disproportionate rates of diabetes in the Deep South.
